Session Fees and Information

Session Duration and Format:
Each counselling session is 50 minutes in length. All sessions are conducted exclusively online, primarily via Zoom or an alternative secure platform if preferred. This format offers flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your own space.

Fees:
The standard fee is £40 per session; payments are due before or at the time of each session and can be made via bank transfer. However, I recognise the financial constraints that some clients, particularly students, may experience. Therefore, I am happy to discuss discounted rates for clients upon request. Please reach out for more information if you feel this applies to you.

Complimentary 15-Minute Telephone Session:

Before our first session, I offer a complimentary 15-minute telephone consultation. This brief call provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process, my approach, or anything else that’s on your mind. It’s a chance to ensure that you feel comfortable and informed before beginning therapy with me.

To schedule your complimentary 15-minute telephone call or your first session, please complete the form by clicking the link below.

Age Group:
I provide counselling services to clients aged 16 and above. This includes young people, adults, and older adults seeking support for a range of personal and emotional challenges.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will incur a fee equivalent to the full session cost. This policy helps ensure that I can accommodate all clients and maintain an effective schedule.

Thank you for your understanding.

What to expect from your first session:

The first session is a vital opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin cultivating a trusting therapeutic relationship, which is essential for effective therapy. During this session, we will explore the reasons that brought you to therapy, including relevant background or personal history, which helps me tailor our work to meet your specific needs. We will also discuss your therapy goals and what you hope to achieve, ensuring we establish a mutual understanding of the therapeutic process moving forward. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to proceed at your pace, ensuring you feel comfortable without any pressure to rush. Additionally, I will explain how therapy works, including aspects such as confidentiality and session structure, providing you with a clear understanding of the process as we embark on this journey together.
